Greeting cards are a very popular product and billions of dollars are spent in this
massive market every year. The public always has a demand for new and attractive
designs. In addition there still remains a sector of the retail market that is
under developed. In 1998, 7 billion greeting cards were purchased and generated
over 7.5 billion dollars in American market.

On the average a person receives 24 cards per year seven of which are birthday cards. Half of the total greeting cards purchased annually are seasonal cards and the other half is divided between every day cards. |
